How to Make Copa Airlines Reservations?
To make your Copa Airlines reservations, you can visit the Airlines’ official website and click on Book Your Flight. You also have the option to put your reservation on hold and purchase it later after 24 hours, either online using your credit card or the Airlines Reservation Center. You can also pay at a Sales Office or directly at the airport. To put your reservations on hold and pay later you can follow the below process

Please remember that you can only put your reservations on hold if you have registered and logged on to your account on the Airlines’ official website. Flying by a Copa Airlines’ flight, you are allowed to make reservations for up to 8 members at a time.
Copa Airlines Boarding Pass
You can receive boarding passes for your Copa Airlines flight between 24 and 1 hour before the scheduled departure of your flight. There are three ways through which you can receive your Copa Airlines boarding passes. It’s either through Web Check-In, Mobile Check-In, or Airport Check-In.
Web Check-In: When you use the web check-in process, you will be able to check-in for your flight from home, office, or any other place. To go through the web check-in process, you will have to visit the Airlines’ official website and click on the web check-in process and print your boarding pass.
Mobile Web-In: To go through mobile web check-in process, first download the Airlines’ mobile app available for both Android and Apple devices. Now go through the complete check-in process, and finally, in the end, you will receive your e-boarding pass on your email id, which you can save on your mobile device.
Airport Check-In: This check-in facility is for those passengers who are unable to use the web or mobile check-in process. To go through the Airport check-in process, you will have to reach the airport and walk to the check-in counter and show your tickets to get your printed boarding passes. Passengers traveling to international destinations must arrive at the airport two hours before their flight’s scheduled departure, and those traveling in domestic flights must reach at least 1 hour before scheduled departure of their flight.
Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
You are allowed to make changes to your tickets, which you have purchased through the Airlines’ official website. However, all changes are subject to fare rules and conditions made by the airlines. You may or may not get refunds for your ticket, depending on the fare rules that apply to the ticket. Fares rules made by the Airlines will specify whether your ticket is refundable or not and also the amount you will receive. Non-Refundable Tickets: All non-refundable tickets can be used as a payment towards a new ticket. If you are not willing to use your ticket, your refund will be limited to the charges you have paid, such as the applicable charges and airport fees. All changes in your tickets can be done online through Copa Airlines Manage Booking option provided on the Airlines’ official website. Using this option, you can view your travel details, e-mail or take a print out of it, pay for your reservations made through the Airlines official website, check availability of seats and select your preferred seat, request for special meals and snacks, take a print of your receipt or check it online, etc.
Copa Airlines’ offers its customers to travel in either Economy class, Business Class, or Executive Class.

Reservations for Unaccompanied Minors
As per Copa Airlines, children in-between the age of 8-14 are considered Unaccompanied minors. They are allowed to travel alone on direct flights or connected flights operated by the same airline. The airline charges a fee of USD 150 for passengers using this service. The airline provides passenger service agents who will be taking charge of your Unaccompanied minors and take care of them until they reach their destination.
There are certain rules which will be applied to children according to their age group
- Children under the age group of 5 must travel with a guardian, family member, or any designated travel companion who is at least 18 years of age.
- Children between the age group of 5 to 7 may travel alone on direct flights or flights involving intermediate stops. Such children are also considered as unaccompanied minors, and unaccompanied minor charges will be applied for transporting them.
- Children between the ages group of 15 to 17 may travel alone on flights with the same airline or interline flights. If their itinerary is impacted due to some irregular operations, the Airlines will contact their parents so that they obtain their authorization with respect to any changes made to the itinerary. For such children, unaccompanied minor service is not mandatory; it’s optional and will be provided only when requested.
Services Provided to Unaccompanied Minors
Unaccompanied Minors will not be provided with any service on the flight during their Journey. This service also includes traveling with your minor through security and immigration and accompany them up to the flight. When arriving on the destination, they will be accompanied by the plane and helped by an agent through immigration and customs and then will be handed over to the responsible adult.
Responsible adults must request for the Unaccompanied Minor service at least 48 hours before the traveling date or at the time of reservation through the Airlines Sales Offices or Reservation Center.
The Payment for travel of your unaccompanied minor must be made 48 hours before the departure of flight through the Airlines Sales Offices or Reservation Center.
You can only pay for your unaccompanied minor when his/her reservation is issued and confirmed.
Copa Airlines will not take any responsibility for providing special services to your unaccompanied minor when a request hasn’t been made.
Adults responsible for Unaccompanied Minors traveling on flights departing from the United States must have an ID that is valid in the United States. It will contain the responsible adult’s full name, date of birth and gender etc. The responsible adults will be issued a Gate Pass so that they will be able to accompany the minor and drop him/her at the boarding gate.
Guidelines on Unaccompanied Minor Policy
A minor cannot travel posing as a guardian to another minor. However, if he is a father, he will allowed to travel with him.
Copa Airlines will not be responsible for the items in the minor’s carry-on bag or for any item they carry along with them.
Copa Airlines won’t allow unaccompanied minors to travel with pets.
Unaccompanied minors are not allowed to carry excess baggage or extra baggage while flying in any of the Copa Airlines’ flight.
Unaccompanied minors must not travel with luggage which they cannot take care of.
Unaccompanied minors an young travelers with special medical condition or those taking medical treatment won’t be able to travel unless they produce a medical document.
When the unaccompanied minor reaches his/her destination the person who comes to receive them must have documentation that proves that he/she is the person named on the form which is attached to the ticket.
When traveling alone, unaccompanied minors must carry all the immigration documents along with them, as it would be required by the laws in various countries.
Copa Airlines Baggage Policy
Carry-On Baggage Pieces
As per Copa Airlines baggage policy, you are allowed to carry one personal item on-board; it can be either handbag, backpack, portfolio, laptop etc. You can also carry an additional item, which you need to store in the superior compartment or under the seat in front of you. Each piece of your carry-on baggage must not measure more than 118 cm (56 cm height+ 36 cm length +26 cm width). If your carry-on baggage pieces with a combined linear measurement exceed the combined linear inches (118cm) it will be considered as checked baggage. If you are carrying a suitcase, then its wheels and handles will not be included in the linear measurement of the suitcase.
Checked Baggage Pieces As per checked baggage policy of the airline each passenger is allowed to carry only 4 bags. Passengers having Gold, Platinum, Presidential, and Star Alliance Gold membership can carry up to 5 baggage pieces. Each of their baggage pieces must not exceed the size of 62 combined linear inches (158cm) and must be transported as Copa Cargo. Copa Airlines allows its passengers to carry certain baggage limit for free. Baggage pieces exceeding this permissible limit will be charged with a fee. The Following are the permissible limit for domestic and international flights.
International Flights: The fee for Economy Promo/ Classic Fares ranges from USD 40 to USD 175, and for Economy Full, the fee is USD 175 for extra baggage piece. In Economy Promo/Classic, the first baggage piece weighing 23 Kg can be carried for free, while in Economy Full, two bags weighing up to 23 Kgs are free.
- In international flights, Overweight and Oversize baggage fee ranges from USD 100 to USD 200.
- Passengers flying in flights to/from Bahamas and Cuba are not allowed to carry a single baggage piece weighing more than 32 Kg.
- Any baggage piece weighing more than 45 Kg will be sent as cargo.
- Passengers cannot carry Pets in Business Class and also not as a checked baggage.
Domestic Flights: In domestic flights, the fee for the additional baggage across all travel classes is USD 40, and for the overweight baggage, it is USD 30.
